Alignment Chart
This alignment chart allows you to see how the course is put together and how assessments and activities align with terminal and enabling objectives. This is the most important part of instructional design, in my opinion. Assessments must measure the stated objectives, and activities must work together to enable the learner to meet the objectives.
In each row you'll see that the assessment and activities are numbered. That's the order in which they'll appear in the developed course. I don't always use an "absorb, do/connect, assess" order. The order changes often in order to better meet an objective and to enable learners to follow a logical train of thought.
